From the battlefield to Bkerke, where Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Raï received MPs Ibrahim Kanaan, Elias Bou Saab, Simon Abi Ramia, and Alan Aoun. They briefed him on their resignation from the Free Patriotic Movement. Following the meeting, Kanaan stated, "The stagnation and rigidity in politics today close the doors to internal solutions and leave us in a state of helplessness that limits our influence on solutions and puts us at the mercy of an external settlement in which we have no say or influence."
