Regionally, the war in Gaza has entered its 161st day, with Israeli airstrikes continuing from the north to the south of the strip, while the population is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis bordering on famine with the onset of Ramadan.

In this context, the Palestinian presidency warned today against the Israeli government's decision to carry out a military operation in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, committing a new massacre and continuing crimes of displacement against the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stated that Hamas's proposal for a new ceasefire in Gaza, presented to mediators, is still based on "unrealistic demands."

On another front, the Houthis announced missile and drone targeting operations against an Israeli ship and an American destroyer in the Red Sea, affirming the expansion of their military operations to the Indian Ocean via the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
