Regionally, on the 159th day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli army continued its airstrikes on various areas of the sector, and divers attempted to infiltrate near the northern shores of Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his insistence on a military ground operation in Rafah despite international opposition. In this context, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned again against Israel's plan to attack the city of Rafah.
