No US Role in Natanz Attack

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the United States had no role in the attack at Iran's Natanz nuclear site on Sunday. Psaki declined to comment on whether Israeli sabotage was to blame or whether the incident might impair efforts to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

EU Sanctions Iran Commanders

The European Union said on Monday it has imposed sanctions on eight Iranian commanders and police chiefs, including the head of the Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Salami, over a deadly crackdown in November 2019.

Jordanian Media on Monday cited lawmakers saying their prime minister confirmed that there had been no “coup” and that former Crown Prince, Hamza bin Hussein, will not face a trial. Last week, Prince Hamza was accused of a plot to destabilize the country.
